Jarrow Formulas  Citrus Bergamot extract is a natural clinically-tested supplement supporting healthy cholesterol levels and blood glucose metabolism.

Grown on the Ionic coast of Italy, Citrus Bergamiais a fragrant fruit the size of an orange and  yellowish in color. The bergamot fruit contains a unique concentration of natural polyphenolic antioxidants and free radical scavengers that research has shown to positively influence cholesterol and blood glucose levels.

Citrus Bergamot has gained attention after 2 studies showing it lowered total cholesterol levels as well as LDL levels (bad cholesterol). The research also showed raised levels HDL (good cholesterol).

Tryglycerides also resulted in  reduced levels of the participants using Bergamot. In both studies, researchers found decreases in tryglycerides, LDL and total cholesterol levels. Participants in the study all had cholesterol levels 250 or above and were given 500mg-1000mg of Bergamot daily. Suggested Use:
